The Board of
Directors for Hawkeye Downs announces the resignation of Mr.
“Mr. Draper has
served on the Board of Directors of Hawkeye Downs for the last twenty years and
will surely be missed,” stated Mr. Roger Zearley, current President of the
Board of Directors. “Mr. Draper has been
instrumental in the planning, direction, and organization of the racing
programs offered at Hawkeye Downs.”
With the absence of
Mr. Draper as the chair of the racing committee of the Board of Directors, Mr.
Zearley has appointed Mr.

preplanning and organization that Mr. Draper has put into the 2007 racing
season, we are in excellent shape and look forward to a successful season,”
states Mr. Steffens.

Downs is a non-profit organization operated by the All Iowa Agricultural
Association, a volunteer 11 member board.
Hawkeye Downs is Eastern Iowa’s premiere ½ mile and ¼ paved racing venue
