OVER 200 CARS JAM HAWKEYE DOWNS FOR OPENING DAY OF MARINES.COM CHALLENGE CUP
(Cedar Rapids, IA 10/11/03)—Over 200 cars signed in to do battle at Hawkeye Downs Speedway for the Marines.com Quarter-Mile Challenge Cup. Saturday featured heat races and position races for 4Cylinders, 2 Person Cruisers, Hobby Stocks, Stock Cars and Modifieds.
All of
the heat races were run before rain hit the area and the remainder of the
position races will be added to Sundays program, which also includes last
chance races and features for all classes. Race time Sunday is 2pm with gates
opening at 11am.
