(Cedar Rapids, IA 6/17/04)--Two former champions,
accounting for five wins, will be racing in the "32nd
annual Keith Fleck Miller 100" at Hawkeye Downs
Speedway Friday, June 25.
Steve Carlson
of West Salem, WI, winner of 3 "Miller
100's," and Justin Diercks of Davenport, IA, winner of
2 "Miller 100's," will be among the entries in the
event. Diercks has
won the last two Miller races.
For the first
time this year, the Miller 100 will be
part of the Yellow Book USA MARS (Mid American Racing
Series) Late Model tour.
The cars appear the same as
Hawkeye Downs Late Models, but have more powerful
engines.
Joining the
MARS Late Models on the Miller 100
program are the Yellow Book USA Mid American Super
Trucks, Hawkeye Downs Miller Time Modifieds, and
Hawkeye Downs Barron Motor Supply Super Stocks.
