DRIVERS FROM 16 STATES, CANADA ENTERED IN USAC EVENT

FRIDAY

(Cedar Rapids, IA 6/2/04)--Drivers from 16 States and

Canada have entered the USAC Sprint Car and Ford Focus

Midget Car Races at Hawkeye Downs Speedway this

Friday, June 4.

States represented include Alabama, California,

Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas,

Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North

Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. Two

drivers are entered from Ontario, Canada.

Joining the USAC Sprint Cars and Ford Focus Midget

Cars on Friday's program are Hawkeye Downs' three half

mile divisions in "ASA Papa John's Cup I-Wireless

Championship" stock car racing.

Grandstand Gates open and Practice starts at 5pm

Friday, with USAC Sprint Time Trials at 6:30pm and

Racing at 7:30pm.

Adult Grandstand Admission is $15, Senior Citizens

and Students Grandstand Admission is $10, with

Children 11 and Under admitted for $1 in the

Grandstand.
