(Cedar Rapids, IA 5/25/04)--The Performance Concepts Late Models Twin Features highlight the racing card this Friday night, May 28 at Hawkeye Downs Speedway.  Each feature will award full points toward the "ASA Papa John's Cup I-Wireless Championship."

Also scheduled Friday are point races for Budweiser Late Model Sportsmen, Miller Time Modifieds, Barron Motor Supply Super Stocks, Marines.com IMCA Hobby Stocks, and Women on Wheels.

The feature winners on May 7 are the point leaders in each division.  Brad Osborn (Late Models), Bob Ahrendsen (Super Stocks), Max Corporon (Modifieds), and Matt Poduska (Hobby Stocks) hope to make it two in a row Friday.

This Friday's race is another "Hawkeye Downs Neighbors Night" with $1 grandstand admission for residents of Atkins, Newhall, Shellsburg, Urbana, and Vinton.

Grandstand gates open and practice starts at 6pm Friday, with racing at 7:30pm.  Adult grandstand admission is $10, Senior Citizen and Student grandstand admission is $7, Children 11 and under grandstand admission is $1.

After this Friday's race, two specials are next on the schedule.  Friday, June 4 features USAC Sprint Cars and Ford Focus Midgets.  The only midweek race of the season is next, IMCA Dirt Late Models on asphalt on Wednesday, June 9.
