ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING FRIDAY, MAY 9 RESULTS

(Cedar Rapids, IA 05/12/03)-- Several cars did not pass technical inspection after Friday, May 9 Racing at Hawkeye Downs Speedway. They were all disqualified from their feature finish, and will receive show-up points and pay only. They will start at the back of a heat race at the next event, May 30.

The cars disqualified and reason were:

#1 Late Model- Carburetor Spacer

#14 Late Model- Carburetor Spacer

#25 Late Model- Carburetor Spacer

#72 Late Model- Carburetor did not pass inspection

# 15 Modified- Carburetor Spacer

#16 Late Model Sportsmen- Carburetor Spacer

#3 Super Stock- Carburetor Spacer
