WEEKS TWO REVS UP AT HAWKEYE DOWNS
(Cedar Rapids, IA 5/4/05)--After a successful, but
frigid, opening night, Hawkeye Downs Speedway roars
into week two this Friday night.  "All Seasons
Equipment" night will feature six divisions in action,
including the Papa John's Cup I Wireless Championship
and the Full Throttle Energy Drink Stars of Tomorrow.
 
Grandstand Gates open and Practice starts at 6pm
Friday with Racing at 7pm.  Adult Grandstand admission
is $10, Senior Citizens and Students Grandstand
admission is $7, Children 11 and Under Grandstand
admission is $1, and Pit Passes are $20.
 
After week one of the seasons, the point leaders are:
Landon Cassill in Performance Concepts Late Models,
Tim Plummer in Miller Time IMCA Asphalt Modifieds,
Kevin Korsmo in Budweiser Late Model Sportsmen, Kurt
Bohnsack in Barron Motor Supply IMCA Stock Cars, Chad
Vozenelik in Barron Motor Supply IMCA Hobby Stocks,
and Rick Gallo in Marines.com Hornets.
 
Plummer is the defending Modified champion.  Korsmo is
a multi time Hawkeye Downs champ in a variety of
divisions.
