DETAILS OF USAC DOUBLEHEADER AT HAWKEYE DOWNS ANNOUNCED

 

(Cedar Rapids, IA 04/30/03)—The schedule has been announced for the “Advance Auto Parts Hawkeye Downs Open Wheel Classis presented by Papa John’s” featuring USAC Sprint Cars, USAC Midgets, and USAC Ford Focus Midgets. The event will be held Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 16.

 

          The Thursday, May 15 event features practice for USAC Sprint Cars and USAC Midgets Cars, followed by a USAC Ford Focus Midget race and Autograph Session with USAC drivers. Grandstand gate opens and practice starts at 5pm, with Racing at 8pm. Grandstand Admission is just $5, or Free with a Proof of Purchase from Papa Johns.

 

          The Friday, May 16 event includes a full National Championship program for USAC Sprint Cars and USAC Midget Cars. Grandstand gate opens and practice starts at 6pm, with Time Trials at 7pm and Racing at 8pm. Adult Grandstand admission is $20. Two-dollar discount coupons are available at Advance Auto Parts.
